Sean Mahan, MD
Sean Mahan, MD, is a diagnostic radiologist who received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, and a medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He later finished his internship and residency at the Medical College of Virginia, and then completed a fellowship at Georgetown University Medical Center. His board certifications include the National Board of Medical Examiners Board Certification and subspecialty Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology
Dr. Mahan lectures at the University of Central Florida, and he teaches radiology and clinical correlation to the doctors of physical therapy students, and he also serves as the team radiologist for the Orlando Predators. Dr. Mahan performs fulltime radiology duties including the interpretation of MRI, CT, ultrasound and Xray.
Dr. Mahan has served as a forensic radiology expert witness for both plaintiff and defense on numerous radiology cases that include medical malpractice, product liability, and personal injury. He is available for expert radiology consultation, review of studies, medical records and depositions, as well as providing deposition and trial testimony. Specialty areas include second opinion reporting.
Avery J. Knapp Jr., M.D.
Avery J. Knapp Jr., M.D. is a diagnostic radiologist currently practicing with EliteRad Radiology Services, a national radiology practice. Dr. Knapp received his Bachelors of Liberal Arts and Medical Degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s 6-year combined degree program. He completed his internship at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, IL, and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at The Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He was chosen as chief resident in radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Knapp then completed a neuroradiology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA. He has been board certified by the American Board of Radiology since 2008.
Dr. Knapp previously worked as a radiologist at Sparks Hospital in Arkansas from 2010-2013, and currently works as a radiologist for radiology centers in Florida as well as in other centers across the United States. Dr. Knapp subspecializes in MRI and neuroradiology, and has a particular interest in trauma-related radiology.
Dr. Knapp performs full-time radiology duties including the interpretation of MRI, CT, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine testing. Dr. Knapp lives in Miami/Boca Raton, and is available for expert radiology consultation, review of studies, medical records, and testimony in trials and depositions.
